I want to put a 429 cubic" engine into my pick up. I understand that my motor mounts don't match. Does anybody know if there's a conversion kit out there? I currently have a 360ci in my truck. Any help is greatly appreciated.

you can go to advance auto parts and have them order you the mounts and the stands to change this over,or you can go pick through a salvage yard until you find a truck that has had a big block in it,either way will work, thats all the conversion parts you need for it, the rest will be in changing the transmision, and drive shaft and cross member, also the drive shaft, you got a lot of work ahead of you on doing this one, good luck with it.

DO NOT THINK ONE EXISTS,BUT THERE IS GOING TO BE ALOT OF FABRICATION WORK NEEDED TO PULL THAT OFF,MIGHT AS WELL START WITH THE MOTOR AND TRNS MOUNT.BY THE WAY,A 429 IS AN AWFUL SPENSIVE ENGINE TO BE PUTTIN IN A TRUCK...IS IT NOS 429?YOU COULD SELL IT AND BUILD 3 HOT RODS!FORD FREAK

You may have to "adapt" the mounts but it should be a minor problem. Look here for possible help.http://www.fordtruckclub.com/Links.html
