The immobiliser that comes with your car is better than any car alarm out there.
Don't waste your money on anything more than an engine immobiliser (which as I say is probably part of the car when you buy it).

lo-jack isnt really so much an alarm, as much a guaranteed car recovery system.
it uses gps and policemen.
lo-jack even says they will pay for your car if they cant find it in 24 hours

For a few dollars more I would just get a Lojack.

lojack only one worth while it will find your car or you get your deductible back
