Say for example an illegal immigrant lives in Maryland, but doesn't have a driver's license yet (and is are old enough to have one now), He travels to say .. New York, can he get hislicense from New York (NY allows illegals to obtain a driver's license)? Would that person have problems once he goes back to MD? Would he be able to drive without any problems or does a license have to be switched/issued from the state of MD? How long can he drive using that NY license?

Ever since I've owned my Civic, something's been up with the starter. At times, it will start right up, and sometimes it would take a ton of clicks to get it going. Recently (like within the last two days), it seems it now needs a jump to start up, even though my battery and alternator are fine. Also, after I drive around for a while, I'll try starting my car, and it will start right up. It's only when it sits overnight or for hours at a time when it will start clicking a lot to the point of needing a jump again. So, is my starter finally just dying and should I get a new one? Or is it something to do with the battery? Please help!

I'm guessing that older refrigerators use R12, so if I had a working one with R12 in it, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be possible to take the R12 and use it to recharge the car AC

I have a 92 buick regal with the 3800 engine, the engine doesnt miss but its got a roughness/shake to it, it burning grayish out the exhaust *fuel* and smells extremely rich, while checking it over today we decided to unplug the vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator. When we did there was no difference at all except for the engine revving up from the vac leak, when the vac leak was plugged with your finger the engine went back to running like it was with the regulator plugged in. I dont have a pressure tester nor do I have the extra $$$ to buy one unfortunetly and the car isnt road legal so it cant go to a garage to be tested. My question is.. with the fact there is no difference when the regulator is plugged or unplugged, does this sound like the regulator is bad?
Thanks for any advice

I just bought this a Yamaha Virago 920, it is my first bike, I have no manual and need help with some simple maintenance questions. It has an oil leak, starter sounds bad, has no dipstick (how do you check oil level?) what type of oil do I use, does it require a higher octane fuel, location of oil plug? Are there any other quirks or problems with this model I should know about or be wary of?
