Since on different engines, the coil is not located in the same place, you must specify the year, make and model with the engine size.
If you have a distributor on your engine, the coil wire is the one in center cap. Follow it back to the coil.

it could be your coilpack, distrubuter, but is the moter misfiring? if so you might need a tune up.
