When the new production GT-R R36 goes on sale after its debut at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show in October, we don't expect it to carry a price tag near that Porsche's $122,000 chit. Instead the 2009 Nissan Skyline GT-R is expected to run somewhere around $70,000, making it a contender to take the title of best value supercar from the Chevrolet Corvette Z06.

Spring next year. Its over here in Japan this fall. Your looking about 70k. Only the rich folks are gonna get it, or those who want to be desperately in debt. If your parents buy you this your spoiled as F**k. Not worth it in my opinion. I like to stick it old school. Im gonna take a R32 GT-R back for a fraction of that cost.

it is supposed to be sold in the us in 2008-2009..I frequently attend car shows and know some poeple who have them.. they are amazing, and I would love to have one.. It is my dream car. I doubt that it will be as nice or have the same specs as they do in Japan.. I would prefer one straight from japan over anything that would be sold in the us. It is an amazing car...

I believe the GT-R is scheduled to sell in the US in late 2008 as a 2009 model. I imagine it will be VERY hard to get one.
