life time warranty is forever, however it only goes to the original owner and doesnt transfer, being most people trade in after 3 to 4 years chrysler figures it wont have to cover that many cars after 5 or 6 years, and they are probably right, i am curious to see what happens myself, if you keep cars forever buy a chrysler

lifetime of the original buyers ownership and it is a power train warranty so they cover the engine trans and differentials till the car is traded once then it is voided sounds good on ad but honestly it should save chrysler a lot of money compared to the traditional 7 70 they used to have as it does not go to second owner

I have not read the warranty, but I feel pretty sure that Chrysler will reach a point after 5 years that they don't even keep the parts to fix the car properly. They can get aftermarket parts at that point for another 15 years or so. There's probably some kind of safety valve clause that gives them an easy way out after they don't want to stock parts any more.
They don't have any intentions of providing parts for their current cars 40 years from now.

A lifetime should be as long as your the original purchaser and you follow the maintenance schedules and keep receipts or until Chrysler goes out of business.

The lifetime span is basically if your the original owner as long as you have that car and you bought it new it should be covered as far as I know. Personally I saw it on tv but I understood as long as your the original owner than the warranty is valid. Good Luck
