I have a 2002 Jeep Wranger with a manual transmission. The clutch action is not heavy, but it is a long throw and too high to rest your heel on the floorboard. I'm fairly young, but have noticed a recent twinge since driving the Jeep full time

Are you sure your clutch hydraulics don't need bleeding? That could shorten your throw a bit. Also the pedal may be adjustable, either by design, or through modification.

One time I counted the times I used the clutch on a 10 mile trip from home, to the baby sitter and then to work. Half of that country driving, the rest small town. 82 times! No wonder my leg was getting tired!

Ive been driving standard pickup trucks since 92- ive noticed sometimes my knee has 'pangs' or gets sore- specially after long trips. I bot the manuals for better MPG - but i think my next truck will be an automatic.

Sounds like you need to toughen up a bit. Try some leg workouts.
