When puting the car into drive it shakes what could this issue be but when you actually go it stops and runs smoothly do you know what it could be?

Could have a bad motor mount. Does the shake go away when you are driving along, and come back when you stop?

Perhaps it's the cars way of asking you to dance - ?!?

But seriously- I agree with the motor mount diagnosis. It could also be a rough idle caused by worn plugs or a gummed up throttle body. If the engine seems to run steady without a miss at idle, but you still feel it shaking a bit, then it's a worn motor mount bushing.

You should never buy a car with a problem.Could be something small or the start of a major problem.Best to have them fix it then talk about price.Be careful there selling this car for a reason.Good or bad.Hope this helps.

could have a motor mount going bad, personally I would stay away from grand ams as they are full of problems.
