hi all i have just appliied for my provisional lisense after 6 years of saying im gonna do it soon. anyway my dad has said he is willing to give me a few lessons in his car so long as i go to his house. my question is where do i stand with regards to insurance. will i be covered under my dads insurance or do i have to take out a seperate policy to drive my dads car? if this is the case can someone please point me in the direction of where to obtain insurance as i have been searching now for the past hour to get quotes and the only quotes i can get is if the car is mine and i am the registered keeper and car kept at my property. i would rather get my own insurance that way my dad isnt going to have to be the one who has to pay if say i crash i.e. his insurance premiums go up, he has to pay excess first coz of damage i have caused. i would be grateful if some one could please answer this as its driving (ha ha) me crazy searching online all the time. thanks

Was in a rear end collision, we were hit, ever since I've experienced back, neck, R. arm pain and headache. I'm not the sort to go sueing people but I'm preterbed about this pain, having to miss school & sports because of it. Is pain and suffering usually awarded to injuried parties in small rear end collisions? What can I expect?

I got my license today, finally, the DMV's server hasn't been working here since last week...anyways when I looked at it the expiration date read 9-5-2056

Can I keep my license till then? By that time I will be over 21, don't I need to change it or do they keep the picture? I am so confused.

My brother let me take out is Yamaha FZ6 and it gave me the bug to get a faster bike... I like the FZ6 but it feels a little heavy for me. I sat on a Suzuki GSX-R and thought that felt pretty nice - I like the 2008 GSX-650F because it has a more upright position like the FZ6. I also sat on a lowered Honda CBR and really really liked that but Hondas are pricey....

What would you reccomend for an upgrade? I am female, 5'1" and about 125lbs. Thanks!

Car has been in the shop since last week. They've ordered the bearing according to catalog, and its wrong - so they say the spindle has been changed apparently..however my brother in law says the bearings come with numbers imprinted on them which should make it easy to replace. The garage lady says Hyundai bearings don't come with numbers...anyway, they are down to the last bearing Hyundai makes and we are waiting for that part to come and hoping it is correct....I am wondering if this is just totally nuts or does this sound correct? Shouldn't they have just taken the bearing itself to an auto parts place and matched it up? Why is this so hard? Car was originally put in the shop for a new alternator, by the way.

I have a problem with my honda fireblade 900cc bike. The battery doesn't charge properly, i think it could be a problem with the regulator/rectifier. I have done some basic fault finding but have still not got to the bottom of it. Any ideas? The battery is brand new.
