My brother let me take out is Yamaha FZ6 and it gave me the bug to get a faster bike... I like the FZ6 but it feels a little heavy for me. I sat on a Suzuki GSX-R and thought that felt pretty nice - I like the 2008 GSX-650F because it has a more upright position like the FZ6. I also sat on a lowered Honda CBR and really really liked that but Hondas are pricey....

What would you reccomend for an upgrade? I am female, 5'1" and about 125lbs. Thanks!

Honestly?? At your height and weight and level of experience, Id suggest you ride the 250 another year, then look at a FZ6... The GSXR might feel nice to sit on, but the power is more than the FZ - the FZ has a downtuned motor for more liveable power... Kawi has a cool looking 650 twin out (650 Ninja), and the SVs from Suzuki are cool too...

I am a female rider as well. I would suggest a CBR600f4I. The Suzuki GSX-600 is a heavy bike as well. You will get better performance on the CBR and less weight. Plus they are easy to lower if needed.

Suzuki SV650, or SV650s. Cheap, plenty of manageable power, and a bullet-proof design.
