I need a small car to get to work in thats under $2,000 but is a 4 door, reliable easy car to drive. I really liked the dodge neon I used to have but im looking for anything right now thats in the $1,000-$2,000 dollar range. Can anyone think of something like this?

I have a standard civic and recently it hasn't been starting. Usually when its left overnight it can't start in the morning. It turns over but doesn't start. If it does start when i give it gas it putters out and shuts off. Then it can't start again. Also there is a smell of fuel after it dies. I already changed the o2 sensors, engine coolant sensor, distibutor, distributor cap, spark plugs and wires. Also when im driving i will stay at a constant speed, but the car will sometimes jerk, like its not getting enough fuel or something. Let me know if you have answers. Thanks

The tear in the boot is pretty big and all the grease is spattered all over the hub. I don't know how long it has been in this condition, but at least for a couple weeks, since the rip is fairly big. I know it needs to be replaced but, is it safe to drive at all?

Hi,

I recently brought a new bumper which was new but had been painted on already but not used and took it to the shop to be painted the colour of my car. The next day i went there it had little cracks all over the bumper, do you know why that could occur? When i gave it in it was all smooth and then when they painted it it got cracks in it, they said they painted then coated and it filled into the cracks, is this possible?

Please can you tell me what i need to sort this out as its all over the bumper.

Could it be a reaction of their paint or they not primed it properly?

I would appreciate if you get back to me.

Sorry its not the paint which cracked, its the bumper. If you put ur fingers over it you can feel the bumper with not exactly cracks but lines which a groved in. They said its filled in after the paint,. Is this possible?

Now that the kids are back to school I'm noticing what a pain in the butt traffic is. It was nice to escape that for a while, but now that kids are boarding buses and crossing busy intersections motorists still down slow down and pay mind to what they are doing, always in a hurry and most always going faster than the speed limit.

I watched a televised campaign of motorists being pulled over by police and interviewed on camera, and they are not ogres behind the wheel just every day people, who are always in a rush.

Why is it people can't give themselves a few extra minutes to get to where they have to go so they are not racing like maniacs in the mornings? But it's not just morning, it's always. When you do drive the limit it seems you have someone on your tail trying to PUSH you into speeding or people have just become accustomed to driving on each others tails at such high rates on the highway that common sense doesn't even fact into the game anymore.

What can be done?

When Im braking in manual I know could either downshift or just go on neutrul and brake but when I go on neutrul while Im in 4th gear do I press on the cluth first then go on neutrul and then brake or i could just press on the brake and put it on neutrul?

My husband had taken his car in for an inspection. We were told to put new tires on it and it would pass. We purchased new tires mounted and ballanced. The car still did not pass inspection. We had two sets of rims so we donated the car with the old rims and have the new tires with less than 50 miles on them. The nubs are still on them. They are 13in tires and we have not been able to sell them over the past few months. We do not have a car that it will fit on. We live in Rockland County NY and do not want to have to ship them to someone. Do you have any idea where I could sell these tires? They were only $200 to begin with and placeing an add in the newspaper is quite expensive in this area. To run an ad for 2 weeks is around $135 and we want to get about $150 for them or best offer. By placeing the ad we will only be getting $15 if we sell them at $150. Any help you can offer is greatly apreciated!!! Thank you in advance.

this guy & his girlfriend were driving on the freeway & two other people in the car too. The guy & his girlfriend were arguing yelling at each other, and than his girlfriend slaps him and the car hits the rail and back out on the freeway and flips and keeps fliping until it stopped they both get arrected, she gets charged with demestic assault and they charge him for reckless driving, is there something wrong with the charges.

My son is fine, just a little scraped up. The people who owned the car followed my son home and asked to speak with me. They showed me the damage on their car and asked for my name and number and they gave me theirs. I'm not sure where to go from here. I was so panic striken in the moment I didn't think to call the police and I don't think my car insurance will cover the damage beings as it was my kid that hit their car, not my vehicle. Now that the worry for my son has worn off, I'm worried about what steps to take next. Any suggestions?

I have a 1993 F250 with a 7.3L (NON-TURBO diesel engine- approx 4 months ago I replaced the rear main Seal-- due to a small oil leak-- it has had a small drip(even afterward)- but now has a small to med. size puddle. there is NO oil on flywheelbut is dripping out of dust shield,starter, and oil pan and slave cyclinder. there are also a few drops of antifreeze on engine block and slave cyclinder-1st? am i correct in assuming it to be the rear main seal? 2nd? I have been told that there is 2 ways 2 go about changing it 1 being pullying the engine the other pulling the tranny- which is a) least expensive and b) easiest for the do-it- yourselfer?
3rdly- I was also told that the crank could be bad and that would be causing the leak from the rear main- is there anyway to determine if the crank was bad prior to undertaking this MAJOR HEADACHE and PROBLEM????
Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!

I just got brand new rims and wheels ( the rims are VOXX and the tires are good years) on my 2007 ford fusion but now it is making noises like a whislte and a clicking does anyone know what i can do to fix this.

i bought a new 2006 jeep wrangler and now the tires shakes everytime i go over 40-45 mph. i mean that it shakes so hard and the steering too. its so scary and i don't know what to do since it is my first jeep. i forgot to mention the tires are pretty big if thats the problem? ( i have a 1 year warranty on it too)

I am planing on putting LED lights inside my motorcycle to light the whole thing up red. I know its illegal in NY to put underglow on cars but im not sure about motorcycles. Can someone please let me know if its illegal for bikes or not?
