We are trying to buy a new car. But We had to file for bankrupcy because of my medical expenses 3 years ago.
Any Chance of doing that? We are financially stable now and should be able to effort $4-500 per month payments.

This car is in excellent condition. It has a semi-new paint job with all original chrome. Of course it does have some details such as worn out chrome, no visible rust, and most of the chrome, including original chrome on wheels, is in like new condition. The interior has no bad remarks. It has been conserved and is still like new; steering wheel, carpet, seats, etc. Everythings works with no problem. The history behind this car is very unique. I'm the second owner (owned for one year) and the original owner has kept it all of its life. He was a PAN AM Engineer and didn't really use the car. Lastly, the car has been garaged since birth. Please give me a decent idea on how much this car could be worth. I would really appreciate if I can get this type of help. Thank you.

I am looking to purchase a new car relatively soon for my family of 4. We currently own a minivan and would like to get something new that could seat all 4 of us comfortably and also have a good amount cargo space. Open to cars that seat 5 and SUV's that seat either 5 or up to 8. Good gas mileage is also a must! thanks!!!

Yesterday morning i was leaving for work and i went to start my truck and it would not start, all i could hear was the ignition after about 5 times i got it going and went to work not really thinking much about it. I got off 4 hours later and tried to start up and all tat would happen is a loud fast clicking noise. I just turn on the key and look at the volt meter and i see that the battery is really low. I get a jump and go home and charge my battery. This is around 2:30 - 3:00ish. Anyway i fully charge the battery and the truck starts up fine and runs fine all day. Later that night im with a friend and i pull over for a bit(20-30 minutes or so) then when i try to start the car, it just clicks again and doesn't start. I get a friend to jump me and i drive around for another hour or so hoping the alternator will give me a little charge. Today i wake up and try to leave and there was no clicking, there was no anything the battery was completely dead. any ideas?

I am looking at a 540i with 80k miles on it and was wondering if anyone has had personal knowledge or experience on cars of that build and year. I test drove it and it felt fine: the tranny was smooth, brakes felt good, engine was very potent (4.4L 280hp!), and the body felt stiff and healthy. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

(besides the obvious mildew smell, rust in places where it shouldn't be, inspect in the day and don't just kick the tires. lol)

I have a 1971 Yamaha RT1-360 that i'm in the process of restoring. The engine is kicking over, but there is no spark. I believe it's the points, but still not too sure.
Any other possibilities? And by chance, know where I can find a wiring diagram for the other electronics without buying the manual?

its a wood hull, dry docked in dec 06, has twin chrysler 440 engines that are 330hp each but original 1973 and overhauled 2 years ago. props are gone (stolen), has 12" by 6ft of teak wood damage on deck, new water heater, cold a/c.

So I was driving to work Monday morning and as I pulled into the parking lot my Battery light and Service Engine Soon light popped up. I put my car in park, turned it off and tried to restart it. No luck...stone cold. It wouldn't turn over and the lights would not turn on. I was going to get a jump start put my uncle advised me not to try. He said the alternator would drain the battery before I made it home or even to the shop. Everyone I've described the problem to thinks the alternator probably gave out. I would tow it to the shop but I don't want to spend too much on something that is easily fixed. So basically I'm asking what my options are. Does this sound like the alternator a different problem? Advice much appreciated

Somebody suggested that I get a car battery charger and plug it in all day while I'm at work. After eight hours it should be able to start up and I should be able to at least drive it home/shop from there. Would that work???

Oh...It's a 1999 Dodge Neon.

How much does it usually cost to resurface front rotors and replace brake pads (including parts/labor)? I have an '03 Toyota Corolla. Just looking for a rough estimate to see if I am getting ripped off. Also, I know you don't have to resurface rotors every time but wondering how much it costs.
