I found the car I want Ladies and gentleman......

http://www.carpages.ca/go/Listing/67879.aspx

But I wanted your opinion:

Is this a good price? Could I bargain with the sales guy even though I'm financing it?

YES I KNOW THE MILEAGE IS HIGH AND ITS A 6-CYLINDER

Is there anything YOU see that I "wont" because being excited is getting the best of me?

What am I looking for?
(besides the obvious mildew smell, rust in places where it shouldn't be, inspect in the day and don't just kick the tires. lol)

There is NO comparison between a honda and a Mercedes.... the Mercedes is by far a better made vehicle and will out last a honda any day of the week. Go with the Mercedes, a very good price too.

This might be a good car if it's what you want. I would visit the dealer and ask if they will let you take it to a Mercedes Dealership for an inspection. Call the Mercedes Dealer and explain you want to buy a car and would they look it over for you. It may cost $100 to maybe $150 to have them look it over for you and recommend any needed repairs or possible problems with the car. After the inspection offer the dealer selling the car $7000 and be ready to walk away if he doesn't take your offer. He'll call you by the end of the day and tell you he talked his boss into giving you a good deal and come get the car. The trick to this is being ready to leave the dealership and walk out if he doesn't give you the price you want. Good luck.

It's a old shape, gas guzzler... It's not worth a penny over $9k.. It should have leather seats, auto.. diesel.. also 2001 were the last few made.. i'm sure you can find a avantgarde for that sort money and a newer example. You are jus paying the rent on the garage and givin the salesman bigger commission.. . X Buy privately- maybe go to a car auction.. You'll be bucks in if you buy private and make sure it has It's dealer stamps. X

Consider the repairs you'll have to make on that thing. It looks all right, and the price seems fair, but think about it a little more, first.

I didn't see any rust, but if you do the price is too high.
