The ABS light on the dash of my Honda Passport has been on for awhile. I tried disconnecting the battery but it still won't go out. The brakes work fine, just want the light to go out.

Any suggestions? The dealer wants $500 just to diagnose it.

Someone had said in a responce to someone elses question about a job in the railroad that "you will know someone who will be either killed or seriously injured" not exact wording but same message. Sounds scary. I am a somewhat clumsy maybe goofy at times type of person who cannot make quick decisions based on "common sense" so would you recommend that I stay away from a career like this?

I've replaced the radiator, the fan clutch, the thermostat, yes the electric fan comes on when it should, it does have the right amount of coolant in it, either the camshaft positioning sensor or the crankshaft positioning sensor whichever one is on top of the transmission has been replacedand also the main computer board thing has been replaced. Why does it keep getting hot? As long as im moving it's ok but as soon as i sit for awhile like at a stop light or drive thru the temp guage starts to climb way above 210 like 220-250. Any suggestions?

I have a set of 18 inch silver wheels on my car, and it seems that they get dirty pretty easily, especially the front wheels. In fact, the front wheels are get dirty quickly and seem to be in worse condition. Any suggestions on how to keep my wheels clean so they can shine?

I'm 17 yrs old, I'll be 18 in 6 months when I'll be getting the SUV. I want to be able to take it off the road and drive on trails, nothing to hardcore though, and i want something powerful, but it has to get great gas mileage. When i drive up hills I don't like having the slow car. And I don't want 3rd row seating because I want a small SUV, i'm not great with big cars. Year-wise I'm looking at 2003-2006. Suggestions?

Every time I go fill up at the local Arco, the gas always overflows out of the tank when I try to use the pump at full power. It doesn't appear to be blocked when I look inside. Why is this happening and what can I do(besides wait forever)? Its a 1970 Mustang

Sometimes the brake pads don't retract properly and overheat. The calipers seemed to retract ok when we bled the lines after replacing the clipers, rotors and pads.

I was just driving down a busy city street and again almost hit a crotch rocket. I was behind another van. I drive a minivan with two small kids. There was a group of 5 or 6 idiots on crotchrockets. They were swerving in and out of traffic. It was like a race to them they were putting everyone on that road in danger including my children i don't take that lightly. This isn't the first time either one of these days i'm gonna end up plowing one of them some day and it will be their fault.

Ive changed my valve springs, push rods, and rocker arms and still there seems to be a knock after my engine gets warm. I discovered this knock after reving my engine and when turning over a gear a loud knock suddenly began coming from under the valve cover. I just replaced all the above and still get this knock like i said so any help would be immensly apppreciated:)
