on the four cylinder the IAT is threaded into the intake manifold at the left rear (driver's side rear) of the engine. If you follow the black air intake hose from the air filter back to the throttle body end on the engine, then continue straight across the silver intake manifold you should come to the IAT at the end of the manifold. It should be on the side of the manifold (as opposed to being up on top as the V-6 is). It may be more to the rear of the manifold than it is straight to the side but it should be the only sensor with a weathertight connector that is screwed into the manifold at that area.
