I think I'm probably going to buy the stripes on ebay and than have a professional put them on. Just in case.

Clean the surface, really wet it down and use a few drops of a dish washing liquid in the water. Apply the decal and move it around to where you want it. Once you have it aligned then squeeze the water out from underneath. Let it dry and you have it. Just make sure to remove any air bubbles before it dries. if you do get the bubbles, use an exacto knife and cut a little slit into the bubble and force some water underneath the decal. Then make sure the air is out of it and again let it dry.

to answer your question directly, YES. it is absolutely difficult to do with zero experience. you do need to clean the surface of the vehicle and use water, but because of the size of the decals and precision of the placement, its near impossible to do it clean on your first shot w/no experience.

i worked in a graphics shop for 2+ years and took about 7months of experience (applying decals every single day) before i put a full body decal on. not to say youre incapable of it, its just THAT hard of a job.

i wouldnt recommend doing it yourself. if you do however, know that if you have small air bubbles, go ahead and pop them with an exacto knife and push as much air out as you can. dont try to force it flat, cuz the vinyl will stretch. once you get it as flat as you can, LEAVE IT. with the heat of the sun on your car, the vinyl will soften and flatten out on its own. good luck

no it is pretty simple.. using water is key because it will help you move the decal around and when you have it in place is when you sqeegy it out..
