its weird early iin the morning when i turn my car on (1994 325i) the hazards are on which its weird so i touch hazrad button to turn them off and i have to hit it twice then they come off does anyone know what this might be happening,,,,,NO"check" or display of anything wrong with the vehicle

Well here's the deal, my mom got a car, 2006 about 1 month ago, it allready needs service, need oil change, new breaks,new filters and it needs to repair the lock on the door, the keyhole to start the car and the dealer wont cover anything of it, should i threathen legal action?

she bought extended warranty and it still is under the original waranty

since she bought it it only has taken 2000 miles from daily driving

as far as the filter and oil change, i know thats the owners respponsivility but should they had sold her a car with 75% good oil left and a crappy used filter?

and i think they SHOULD cover any repairs that arise

I am wondering, without an adapter. How do I hook up a 4 wire trailer wiring to a round 7 way plug for my truck (2007 F150 FX4)?
I know green is R/turn and yellow is L/turn. Brown is running lights and white is ground.
I hook these up to the round plug and all works good until I hit the breaks and all lights shut down. How do I fix this?

What would be the best way to try to get into mechanics...im not planning on it being my occupation but i want to be able to work on my own cars and what not. I really havent had any mechanicall knowledge in my life so im pretty much fresh out the whomb(sp?) on this one. Should i start with getting some sort of manuall or should i try to contact a local colleges(im 16 so i dunno if i can take any of their classes) or should i try to contact a garage and ask around for help? Im not exspecting it to be easy. I have the motivation im always under my hood looking at everything(never tried taking anything apart befor) also it would probbly be good idea for me to start on something not as exspensive maybe like a lawn mower. Right? Any help is appreciated.

This guy is offering to sell me a 2006 subaru impreza wrx sti for 11,500 because he needs to get rid of it to pay off loans, he aslo has many other cars for sale at very good deals. Only problem is i wont be able to see the actual car untill after hes shipped it to me, but i have seen pictures and it looks fine with no problems and he says the car runs perfect. About a year ago my girlfriend of 4 years (we are 25) was struggling with her bills and her expenses. She was living at home still, so I helped her out some until she got back on her feet. She got a job not too long after and we decided it was time to rent an apartment. I pay $800 per month and she pays $600 per month. I made it clear to her that we should be saving for a down payment on a house for which I thought she agreed. She decided to lease a brand new SUV despite me telling her not too. I was advised to let her do what she wants so she ended up leasing it, but refused to tell me for how much per month. I recently found out that she pays $650 a month and the lease term is for 36 months. I am beyond speachless and don't even know what to say to her. I don't get how she could have been so dumb. She claims she wants a future with me but I feel I am the only one saving and making sacrifices to build a life. What should I do?

I make 45k a year, she makes 35k.

What are signs to look for? My brakes seem to work fine but the fluid in my master cylinder is low and mostly brown colored, is it time for a change? Should I simply add more fluid or bleed the entire system? My mechanic will do it for sixty bucks Canadian.

it only looses fluid at idle when temp reaches 100 C. then fan cools it back down and its fine

Cars will get pulled over simply for having a defective muffler. But many motorcycle owners blast their engines SO LOUD around town, setting off car alarms, and it doesn't seem to be a problem. What's up with that??? (By the way, I think a lot of that is on purpose, just to p|ss people off. And that sucks.)

I am having an argument with my friend. I am almost 100% positive that I heard somewhere once that part of the reason that schools and everything need to shut down for a simple "dusting of snow" in the south has to do with the composition of the roads. Can someone explain this to me better so I can win the arguement? Does anyone know what I am talking about. I am fairly sure that roads built in the north have special additives that make them more resistant to icing over, better grip, etc, and in essence are safer to drive in the snow then others.

I am almost 50, work fulltime but have no extra cash after the bills a paid. Although, I am trying all the time to generate more cash. I don't have enough to get a car. Now, the car that I bought my mother (73 years old) brand new 10 years ago, just died and I am in no position to help her either. We live in Detroit and we both need just simple cars before winter. We have always had cars and used them to help so many others in need, like youth and senior citizens. Any serious, but creative ideas out there?

I have a 1988 BMW 325i Convertible that seems to have some problems that I think are electrical. If these problems are indeed electical, where could I get a manual that contains wiring and electrical components with wiring/fuse diagrams? Would a "Chilton" manual have this? These are the problems. Lemme know what ya think.

1.) Driver Side Passenger window stuck in the open position. I'm not sure if it is the window open/close switch and wires, or if the window just came off the tracks.

2.) Turn Signal not working. Its in pieces. I need a new one.

3.) Rpm Tachometer doesnt show the RPMs. The needle stays at zero. I have no idea whats wrong here.

4.) Horn does not work

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know nothing about electrical problems in cars.

I was told that after 6 months I can shop around for a new insurance carrier and would then be considered a customer with continuous, aka un-lapsed, insurance on the vehicle. The dealer had a sort of insurance, and it was brand new 0 miles, why does it not qualify for that discount right away? Continuous since day 1. Am I getting screwed? I wouldn't mind fighting for the discount, as I estimate a savings of $400 a year.
