I am wondering, without an adapter. How do I hook up a 4 wire trailer wiring to a round 7 way plug for my truck (2007 F150 FX4)?
I know green is R/turn and yellow is L/turn. Brown is running lights and white is ground.
I hook these up to the round plug and all works good until I hit the breaks and all lights shut down. How do I fix this?

My mistake, turn signals don't work either. Only running lights and they shut down when brakes are applied.

Does your truck have separate turn and stop lights? if so, you may need a converter.
