why my hazard lights blink in the morning?

its weird early iin the morning when i turn my car on (1994 325i) the hazards are on which its weird so i touch hazrad button to turn them off and i have to hit it twice then they come off does anyone know what this might be happening,,,,,NO"check" or display of anything wrong with the vehicle

it only does this in the morning like everyother day..........

Your BMW has an automatic collision detection system. In a serious accident, your doors will automatically unlock, the hazard lights will automatically turn on even if you didn't turn them on yourself.

It looks like something went funky on yours... causing it to think you had an accident.

A simple way to try to solve this is just to disconnect the battery, wait a few minutes and reconnect it... hopefully, this will "reset" the sysytem. But make sure you have your factory radio code handy!

If this doesn't solve it, you wll either have to study the wiring diagram to trace the problem or send it in.

I've same in P. vibe( I miss tear:C). Just a feature of the vehicle. But, after looking at question a little. Have a mech. friend or a specialist in a shop( a car shop); prob. costs $ to look at car for better answers. "I'm just a CAVEMAN..." I realize finally, a honest answer is beyond me.

Electrical issue. Take it in . . . or, better yet . . . considering the cost to fix a 13 year old BMW . . . just live with it. It sounds like a minor inconvenience.
