You said 2001 so whatever chrysler you have it is a 2nd Gen design -- you could find many of the SRT4 parts will fit.
If you already have a 2.4L engine -- it might be cheaper and a hell of a lot easier to find a wrecked SRT4 and install it's engine into your car -- same engine - so the motor mounts should fit. I've known a few people who have been able to buy the engine and trans from a wrecked SRT4 for roughly $2000. Consider a 'turbo kit' will cost you $3000, it might be worth checking out. The other reason to just go w/ the SRT4 engine would be for the reliability -- the SRT's 2.4L has more oil gullies etc and is designed around being a turbo more so than the N/A 2.4L ....

I'm pretty sure they make kits for this, try searching for 2.4 liter turbo kits. Try Hahn. They aren't made nearly as strong as the factory 2.4 turbos in the pt gts and the srt-4s though so they wouldn't have as much potential. Those things are absolute brutes. They will hold up to anything.

Look for a PT Cruiser club in your area and ask around. I'm sure someone there can help you out.
