the kids are dying to go to the lake I have spent 800 this week trying to get my boat to start, but cant get a spark at plugs or coil I replaced the ecm or ignition amplafier. then the coil then distribtor cap and button, then the the rotory sensor in the ditribtor. so I no have a conpletly new ignition system. with no spark at plugs or coil. when checking voltage the only funny thing I can find is that even though both battres are charged all the way and I have the charger hooked up, with the ignition on at the coil i'm only getting 11.5 volts from the positive post to a ground on the motor but nothing from the positive post to the neg. post on the coil if I check the the neg.post on the coil to a ground on the motor i have continuity between them. at all other power points i'm getting 12 to 13 volts but not at the coil. just 0 frum neg. to pos. yet the neg. post ha a good ground and the pos. post to any other ground then the coil i do get 11,5 volts. thanks for any help. Ben

This last Wednesday at work, I was hauling a 1000 gallon propane tank on a goose-neck trailer when I lost the tie rod joint on the passengers side tire, therefore sending me in a straight path to the guard rail, because the joint went south, I know have over $10,000 in body damage on the drivers side of the truck. The thing I don't understand is this truck is this is a Red 2006 Ram 3500 dually, four wheel drive, with the Cummins H.O. Turbo Diesel motor, and it ONLY has 56,000 miles on it! Can anyone help me figure out why the tie rod went south on me like it did? Or has anyone ever seen anything like it???? Anything would be apprecaited

Im looking to purchase a car, and one of the cars im looking at has a rebuilt title. It is a very nice car and i looked at it and the owner looks like he spent a lot of time on it. When i checked it out i met him at the body shop he worked at. He said he bought it damaged and had it fixed up in the body shop for way less than going through insurance and thats why it has a rebuilt title. The car is in very good shape. I need to know some of the things to look for such as vin numbers with different parts, and how exactly to transfer the title if i purchase it without getting jipped.

My fiancee just bought a new Harley so I bought him a "guardian bell". It's supposed to ward off those evil road spirits. I just don't know if there is a certain place it is supposed to go.

I am replacing the cylinder head on a 1991 Dodge Caravan with a 2.5 liter engine non turbo. The manifold gasket in the head set appears to be made of graphite over metal. The repair manual is not clear on whether I should use gasket sealer or not. If I should then what sealer should I be using? The gasket seals both the intake and exhaust manifolds. Thanks for the help.

'94 ford taurus. Intermitant starting probs. It will act like it wants to start but won't. Then after awhile, sometimes over night, sometimes in a few minutes, it starts. This is happening more frequently.

Hi,
I had rented a van from the rental agency in USA. I had taken full insurance for the van. I had park the van some where in parking lot, when i come back to lot i found that it's got damage on passenger side. I didn't made any complaint to police b'coz i don't know who had done that. But when i am returning the van i informed to the rental agency people about the incident, they told me that i am fine and no issue, b'coz i have full insurance. But now the rental agency calling me and told that i am not fully covered, and they are aksing for complaint. As i have't informed to any one. Plz help me to get out of this hell problem. I am really facing mental tension b'coz of this problem.

Thanks,
- Kris

It's raining every day and of course my girlfriends sunroofs motor went while it was open. Is there a manual way to close it until we can get a motor for it?

i used to bring my car to the car wash until their brush broke the blinker holder. so i decided to wash my car with mr clean Auto Dry. Let me tell you...WORST DECISION EVER! i guess the film on my windshield is the auto dry party. when it rains and when my wipers go across, my whole windshield leaves a white film and then in about 3 seconds it dries up. its a pain because it blurs my vision driving and just a pain in the ***! i have tried re-washing about 3 times, soda to clean it,rubbing alcohol and nothing works! i asked a friend of mine who is a mechanic if he knew, and he said put some rain x on it and it lubricates it and the rain just sheets off. but then my mom said it was the worst thing she ever used. she said it left a film on her windshield. is that the same thing i have goign on? what would be a good thing to get rid of that? i did put NEW blades on. please help? has anybody used rain-x?

It almosts sounds the same way it does when the cv joints are going bad, but I have had both driveaxles replaced within the last 30,000 miles, and have checked the boots for any tears/damage and have found none. What else could it be?
