'94 ford taurus. Intermitant starting probs. It will act like it wants to start but won't. Then after awhile, sometimes over night, sometimes in a few minutes, it starts. This is happening more frequently.

Sounds like either your Starter is going out
or your igntion is going out, Do you have A ton of keys on ur key ring with ur car key? that is one of the biggest mistakes ppl make they'll have a crap load of keys or a crap load key rings and only a few keys and the wieght of the key chain is pulling the igntion out and it'll make you unable to start your vehicle at all not to mention normal use will make a igntion go bad as well

I had a honda accord that did the same thing. We were told that if you hit the gas tank from under the car, and then try to start it. And it starts then It might be the gas pump in the gas tank. Our car did it mostly during the summer than the winter.
And talk about annoying as heck. Good luck with your car.

try changing your fuel filter especially if you have been buying cheap gas.
Another one I ran into the other. Ran good until she stopped the car then it would not start: Acting like it was flooded. Pulled the air cleaner hose off and car started. Put it back on and car would not start. Air filter completely stopped up with dried mud.

Spark, fuel, and compression.

You're missing one of them.
