I need replace a whole engine.How much is it gonna be?

the machinest at work purchased a blown 850 for a couple of hun. then went on-line and found a salvor in the north east [new hampshire?] who sold him a complete engine w/ wiring harness for 600 dollars and 200 shipping [90 day warrenty] suspect a 99 v-70 awd would be similer, but you must shop around, this engine had about 85k on it, other listed prices were as high as 2800. once arrived new seals timing belt tensioner idler and water pump were installed as well as major tune up items he is into the car for approx 1400 dollars total and is perfect inside and out.
note if your engine scattered you best replace the intercooler and dump out the exhaust forward of the converter [chunks love to hide here and wreck havoc on a "new" engine]

Volvo rebuilt is $5000 plus
Good used one is $500-1600 depending on who you get it from and how low the miles are on. The labor is around 1000-1500 to change it out.

Check out www.swedishautoparts.com....or call them for price....they have tons of good used engines and also will deliver....a good used engine $500-$800...a new one is at least 2500 bucks.....
