Elbow grease, dish soap and water. Try putting a little jet dry in the bucket of soap or water softener (sold near laundry detergent) as this softens water. Also put it in the rinse water too.
Use a very firm and thick sponge.

I try to chamois off as much water as I can before it dries. Then I use a wax or polish and go over the body and get rid of the nasty white rings.
From my co-workers, they say that using a water softner to wash the car makes all the difference in the world. They don't have the white ring problem. good luck.

Try washing it with soft water.
