That oil, i guess , is still good as lubricant. Does it have any use with no aditional fancy recovery process? It just looks kind of dark.

I just came off a bad trip through the South with some serious miss-handling of weather issues from another Airline (nameless) but that is another story. After sitting on the ground for 1.5 hours with no communications from the front office I started thinking. As a pilot in charge of 150 lives behind him what was the Jet Blue pilot thinking? After about hour 3 I think I would have been on my cell to the home office demanding a solution for these poor people. What are the details as to why he didn't request busses/airstairs, or take off and get these people to either Cancuun or a hub (like Atlanta) so they could find another carrier? I know being a pilot you are ultimatly responsible for these peoples lives.

If anyone has the details that would great.
If you were the pilot what would you have done?
If you were a passanger how long do you wait.. Then what?

I recently gave cash for a used car and making bi weekly pymts. At the time I was in dire straits for a car...a friend was going to let their car go back, so the deal was I give them cash money for the work recently done and the new tires and take over pymts. Well now I am finding that they owe alot more on the car than what was discussed. I am paying on a car that is in their name...I want to know if there is a way to get this car put in my name. I have been told that being he bought it at a "tote the note" place they will not transfer. Will a bill of sale work to change it over to my name??
I just want to be sure 6-8 months from now they cant decide they want it back...or being I am working on my credit ..it would be nice to get the credit for paying this car off.
I would appreciate any advice...

I would like to know where there is information regarding for trucks between 2000-2005. I am planning on buying a F150, F250, or F350 diesel and I heard that the model in 2003, particularly the 6.0 L version for the diesel had lots of problems. Are there other years that I should not consider or look into more?

well last nite, during heavy rain. I was making a left turn on an intersection, I dont know if pushed the gas a little too hard while turning but all of the sudden i started spinning so fast like 3 times (while i was spinning i was steering the opposite way to reduce spin) then my car got on the curb and ran over a sign, resulting with a flat tire. Thank goodness there was an empty parking lot a couple feet away where i can drive to. So why did my 2004 Jeep liberty Renegade V6 4X4 (automatic) 3.7L spin out? i even had all terrain tires. Should i have set my car to 4X4? I just recently bought this car and dont know how to shift from rear wheel to 4 wheel.

I have been looking at my 2002 Chevy1500. It has a 5.3 l V8.
I have had these wild dreams of building my own hybrid vehicle for several years, and I just had this brainstorm. My truck has an exceptionally long driveshaft. I think at highway speeds it would only take about 10~12 hp ( and I think thats a lot more than I need ). So heres the question / idea. Place the motor inline with the driveshaft. In normal driving the motor would act as a generator. at highway speeds the transmission could be uncoupled from the transmission using an electric clutch. The motor would then drive the rearend directly on electric. The big thirsty V8 could then be left to idle.
So is this a pipe dream or a decent idea. Would it be worth the money saved in gas? A waste of time?

I was selling my 1990 Eagle Talon for $800.... on the ad, I listed everything that was wrong with it...I stated that it needed a few things before it would pass inspection. The person who came to buy it SAID they were 22 years old. He looked at the car, and decided to buy it from me for $800 cash... So I signed the title over to him, took the cash, and he drove it away,... also my car was a 5-speed, and when he bought it he said he didn't know how to drive a standard and not to laugh at him...I said it was his car now and I didn't care...He attached illegal plates to the car... and drove off in it...then last night, HIS MOTHER calls me and calls me the C word and tells me I sold a car to a minor and that she was returning the car to me. THIS KID LIED TO ME!!! What are my rights? He knew it wasn't going to pass inspection and that he needed to fix it and he agreed to fix whatever was wrong with it.... now this woman is threatening my life and wants her money back?? Help! I

Long story short, Im in Maryland and I went into a dealership with a trade-in , saw a car that I liked, they had to fix some stuff so I never took possession of the car, did paperwork and they gave me a loaner. Some issues have come up and I can no longer take delivery of the vehicle. I went back to get my car and they would not give me my keys because of all these bullsh*t reasons. Can they really not give me my car back?

I have worked in the auto industry and I am 99.999% sure that because I did not take possession the car is not mine and they have to give my keys back. But I just want to be 100% sure so when I go back I can lay all the facts on them. Thanks!

I purchased this bike mainly for travelling to work, I've had it about 6 months and I'm very pleased, I would like to buy some accessories for it but they are difficult to find (UK), any ideas?
If you have this model bike what are your experiences riding, servicing or just having fun 'what do think' of the bike?

Lets face it, their is simply no need to have one. And if you need the extra space for luggage/kids/equipment, then why can't people just buy and estate? They should be banned because...

- They produce more pollution than standard sized cars
- Most are designed for 'off road' activities
- They take up more room in car-parking bays
- The drivers are usually gits with a slaphead and glasses on top of them (most southerner's!) who think that their vehicle makes them 'bigger'.
- How many miles to the gallon? A Focus Estate does over 40, a 4x4 doesn't even compare
- They block roads at 9am when all the mummy's drop off their darling kiddies

Agreed?
