I purchased this bike mainly for travelling to work, I've had it about 6 months and I'm very pleased, I would like to buy some accessories for it but they are difficult to find (UK), any ideas?
If you have this model bike what are your experiences riding, servicing or just having fun 'what do think' of the bike?

I rode The Yamaha XT600E for over three years. An absolutely gorgeous bike - and I know what you mean about commuting; sitting high above the traffic and with massive wheels to ride through the potholes, it was ideal in the city!
A lot of trail bikes are biased toward off-road or on on-road and this one is definitely more off-road that say the BMW 650GS so you can have a lot of fun now it's summer..
Trouble is in the UK, every other bike is a sports bike so it's harder getting part full stop if you have a trailie.
I used my local Geroge Whites Yamaha dealer and never had any problems. Sometime you can get lucky with independents
If I had space, I would never have traded-in, but I needed a bike for a tour through Europe and the bench seat and low top-speed made me go for the Fazer

I don`t have the same bike,but do have the same problemI have a honda cb750kz first double over head cam I can`t even get second hand parts.Goog luck.
