I have a duel pumper holly on a 350 with a edelbrock high performance cam. Right now when in park its idling very high. When i shift into gear it wants to stall - need to give it gas to keep it going. Also when accellerating, it hesitates before accellerating. Any suggestions be great. This car is new to me and i am not familiar with the carb setup.

The car runs great. But when the gear is on drive and my foot is on the brake, it skakes...

hi guys i got an RMX 250 (1991) and it keeps oiling the plug iv changed everything electrical from plug to eci unit stripped the bike changed fuel it still does it and it does not matter if its ticking over or you r thrashing it , its got me stumped completely any ideas would be greatly appreciated

I bought a new 2007 toyota 7 months ago, and i never personally changed any oil/ water on it, i just took it twice for an oil change at the dealership, thinking that they do all that stuff for it, am i supposed to do these things myself?? or it doesnt needs coz its new? please let me know.. thanks!

Here's the situation: I first starting hearing this weird scraping noise only when I had my car in drive or reverse (auto transmission)...repair shop couldn't figure it out...transmission shop couldn't figure it out either...other than that it was running fine.

Later on I started hearing a high pitched whining noise while driving and the tranny started shifting pretty rough through the gears.

Finally, when I got to a stop and started to go again, I hit the gas and the car wouldn't move, but after a few seconds it did start taking off.

The next day I tried to take it to a shop, when I got in and started to drive away, I didn't hear the whining sound at first, and it was shifting just fine, but after a few hundred feet it came back and started doing the same things again.

Any ideas as to what this is?

I've wanted to be an airline pilot for as long as I can remember. However I've been working in IT for the last 3 years and am only now ready to commit all the money to training and then hopefully get a job. I have a private pilots license so I know I enjoy flying. I think I will enjoy being an airline pilot, but how do I know? I've spoken to others about it and from what I've heard, I will love it... but I do not want to change career and spend all this money only to end up in a job which I do not like or is not what I thought it would be. Any advice?

My car was hit in a parking lot the other day when I was not arround. When I saw what happened, I just drove home because I was in a hurry. If I try to get it fixed with my insurance agency, do I need a police report, or do they just take my word on what happened?
