I got a '96 Civic and I've just started noticing that it makes a noise, kind of like a low, bass squeak. What's wrong with it and what can I do to fix it myself? Thanks.

Surely with a 20mph headwind @60mph the 10mph greater aerodynamic drag will outweigh the extra revs friction @70mph.
Would the fuel consumption be related to the road speed + relative wind speed?
So driving at 50mph with a 50mph headwind would give only slightly better consumption than driving at 100mph on a calm day?

I found one that was 2001 with 157,000 miles for $5,200
and i found another one that was a
1998 with 137,000 miles for $5,200
Is this a good deal or do the cars sound like they're about to crap out soon....I don't want to end up spending more money to fix the car in the long wrong.

I don't want to be ripped off! I've put my 2004 Ford Ka in to be serviced and been told the brakes need repaired. Before I go back to get it (and the bill) I'd like to know how much roughly they'll charge me. It's the front and back brakes that need sorted.

It Idles at around 2000rpms when warm and then when I put it in gear it idles at around 900 but you can feel the engine idle a little rough like its misfiring but I don't think it is because going down the road there is power there and there are no codes being reported. I just dropped the engine in there and looked at the haynes manual for the vaccum hoses and from the diagram I don't think I got any of them hooked up wrong or anything. There is one hose that hookes up to the cruise that off of that is aonther hose I had to plug for the cruise to work but I can figure out where it goes thats why I had to plug it. If anybody has any idea what the problem could be any help would be appreciated.

I heard on a radio station that the north pole is full of radiation and they won't let women take the flight over the north pole and that pilots get sunburned from going over the north pole and that pilots don'tlike it because if anything happens they don't have any where to go down on the north pole because they would never be able to get back up in the air. Is this true?

I have a '95 Ford F-350 with a E4OD electronic 4-speed automatic transmission. First I dropped the pan and opened the drain plug on the torque converter. I disconnected the transmission lines from the transmission and removed the in-line filter. I used that kooler cleaner solvent flush in a can and connected it to the feed line and flushed the lines and cooler out of where the inline filter was connected. Then I tried to blow out the solvent residue with the air compressor. I used 120psi and put a rag in front of the nozzel to catch any water spray coming out of the compressor. Would that much pressure damage the system?

I put the new filters in and reconnected the lines and filled it up with transmission fluid. Would the air in the lines and cooler cause problems?

Would the cooler purge itself of the air or do I have to bleed it manually somehow?

Would the residue of that kooler kleaner be bad for the transmission?
