That is entirely dependent on what you want built. Between the two I would recommend Indonesia or Malaysia if you want a traditional design. India has many yards that will build to your design.

I priced it about 20 years ago and although the hull was cheaper it was more expensive after considering the duty to be paid on power and fittings.

Understand the difference between local and international quality in, shrouds, sheets, guys, stays, winches, etc. If you're willing to put up with the traditional methods I would advise Malaysia. But remember, it will require constant supervision and paying little extras to get it done in a timely manner.

Truth is, I've been a carpenter for almost 36 years, and I haven't found anything like this for less than 10's of thousands of dollars.
