This sound comes to our ears when I am stopped somewhere between a slope, and When I release my brakes to keep going I hear this clicking/knocking noise? What should i do? Is this a major problem or minor? Is it dangerous?

when the 4 wheel drive is disengaged i can spin it but when it is engaged i cant, but my tranfer case i know works, but i think i have a broken axle, i could be wrong, '96 yukon 4x4 350

My 98 Civic, auto transmission, shifts into neutral while I'm driving for unknown reasons and the dealer says it's normal. On this model it is not necessary to push in the button on the side of the shift lever to go from drive to neutral or back again. Do you have this problem with the newer model Civics? I was thinking of buying a new Civic but don't like this problem.

Which of these two agencies actually gives the more accurate crash test results? NHTSA rated my car with 4 and 5 stars (good and excellent) all the way around, while IIHS rated the exact same car acceptable and poor in similar crash tests. Who should I believe...or which agency's results are more accurate?

1999 Olds Bravada about 100k mileage. Drove fine yesterday. Parked inside overnight, won't start now. Sprayed gas into the intake - no luck... What now? Help please?

Opened similar question earlier - adding more detail here now...

The engine cranks, it just doesn't start. I still have a half tank of gas in the vehicle. All power appears to be working. New Fuel pump within the last month - new fuel filter at the same time.

Had some recent issues which were never confirmed, or even repaired - see previous questions for those details if needed.

From what I've read about statistics, even with rising gas prices continuing to break record prices, Americans are not reducing their driving. What are you doing (if anything) in response to the rising costs of fuel? Have prices changed your driving habits?

i bought a car on the 11th of january 2007 and on the same day i got insurance with the insurance company i use on the 18th of january i was driving my car and was stopped by the police he said you have no insurance on the car and i said i have only had the car for a week and was waiting for my insurance documents to come through he said he would give me a 7 day producer the day befor i received a letter on a signed delivery as i was busy i did not read it till the next day after the police had stopped me it was from the insurance company saying we regret to inform you that we could not give you insurance from the 11th of jan 07 due to canceling of another insurance with them i have had my licence for just over a year now and have never been in trouble with the police i got a court letter through the outher day saying i need to go to court on the 05/06/07 the plea guilty or not guilty wat should i do as i thought i was insured and had a policy number please help
