A few tips.

The number one reason people fail the test is speed. Students fail when they don't see speed limit signs, and the speed drops 10 mph, such as a 35 mph zone changing to a 25 mph zone. Students get nervous watching traffic, and forget to scan for speed limit changes.

Also, be sure you are scanning for traffic. When you approach an intersection, scan both ways, and be sure you turn your head to look for traffic. The examiner will be watching for your head to turn to look for traffic, so be sure you turn your head when you scan so the examiner can see you turn. This applies to all intersections where cross traffic is possible.

Good luck.

Some of these may seem goofy, but it will help.

If you walk to your car with your instructor:
Before getting in the car, walk around the car and check for to 1. make sure nothing is blocking the path of the vehicle.

Once in the car/or if you are already in the car when the instructor arrives.
1. Make sure you and the instructor buckle your seatbelt. If you're already buckled, make a point to "doublecheck" that you are for them to see.
2. Check your rear view mirror, even if you've already adjusted it.

These two things often will earn you safty points and set the instructor in a better mood for the actual test.

But above all else, remain calm and relaxed and enjoy your test. :)

Try not to get nervous about taking the test. The testers are aware you are new so relax and trust them.
What the tester is looking for, more then anything else, is how well you control yourself and whether you act as if you are aware of your surroundings.
.
Don't be overly confidant, just relax and do exactly as the tester tells you to do. Don't chat with the tester, but do ask them to repeat an instruction if you don't quite understand what was asked.
.
Have one or both of your parents, not a friend, take you to the test site.
Do not take your friends!
Do not take your phone or iPod with you.
Unless it's is very sunny, do not wear shades.
Make sure you have all of your paperwork with you.
.
Good luck, I'm sure you'll do fine!

Yep!
Relax. If you studied and do well on the road and can do everything that the roadtest is going to ask of you, then it's a non-issue. Just make sure you MAKE SURE the instructor buckles up....do not move the car unless he/she is buckled, it's the law.

Just be honest with your instructor, if you are nervous, tell him/her. And just take it one step at a time. Don't think ahead.

BREATH, PAY ATTENTION AND DON'T BE INTIMIDATED, HE OR SHE IS JUST AN INSTRUCTOR BUT THEY DO SOMETIMES HAVE BIG HEADS.
