I just bought a 2004 trailblazer and it has factory radio and the stations are staticy how do I fix this? When I play a CD it sounds great...should I buy a differnet atenna?

Sounds like you have a loose wire connection - either at your antenna or at the back of the radio.

If the antenna: Make sure it's snug in the antenna base & that the cable isn't frayed or cracked.

If the radio: Take out the radio, being careful to NOT unplug the electrical connections, & verify it's plugged in there good. Sometimes the previous owner will replace the factory radio & fail to make a good connection at the radio.

I personally would look behind the radio first.

is it your location? like do the radio stations play ok in your house? or if you drive to a more populated area where there's better signal? it could be the antenna. there might be some sort of signal amplifier for it but i'm not entirely sure. you'd have to search around

Loose wire somewhere could be the culprit.

u are in a bad reception spot or the antenna is bad.
