I get your question. The regular maintenance you're getting is probably sufficient. In the unlikely event that something happened to cause oil or coolant loss in a new car,you have warning lights that come on long before anything gets low enough to damage your engine.Just make sure you don't drive one more foot if they ever do!

Check the owner's manual for the maintenance schedule. Oil changes are usually recommended every 3,000 miles. Coolant may change depending on the manufacturer. The manual may even have spaces to fill in the date and mileage when you had the work done.

depends on the car some new cars only need oil change every 10,000 or 1 year. used cars go every 6mo. you will still be ok. oil companys want you to change every 3000 miles or 3 mo or 6 mo donot waste your money. they sell oil also (gas) and they are making money these days at the pump.

You need to open the owners manual and read it. It has a list of things that need doing and how often to do them. There are a few things like fluid levels you should check under the hood.

take it to have the oil changed every 3,000 miles (jiffy lube or somewhere like that will probably be cheaper than a dealership)...and when you take it, ask them to do a fluid check (my place does it automatically and will top off any fluids that are running low)

To keep your car in good condition, you should change the oil (or have it changed) every 3,000 miles or every 3 months no matter what year it is.

oil every 3000 miles unless mostly highway miles then every 5000 miles radiator fluid every 2or3 years or every 25000 miles transmision fluid every 20000 miles.
