I recently aquaplaned in a bend at low speed and spun out; never happened before, or when the car has "moved" i've controlled it. Had the dealer check the car out and they discovered a defected wheel bearing. I was interested whether this could have partly caused the spin; or if its possible to cause a spin.

Do you think this is just too disturbing and inappropriate on the US television, or we needs something like this?
I think we need something like this here, too many reckless drivers that believes driving faster = driving skills.

I recently got a bogus ticket for doing a flyby on the highway (passing on the shoulder), when my cruise was set only 5 above the speed limit and I was doing nothing wrong. Some lady called in "reckless street racing" due to some jackass in a Grand Am was trying to get me to race him...
...Long story short, any advice on evading this ticket? I am not letting this go through if I have absolutely any say in it, but with the car I was driving and how much the law loves to profile, there's no way I'm going to be seen as innocent.

I want to make my car sound like a night club...I'm talking about the whole deal...new head unit, amp, subwoofer...you name it. I just don't know how much I will be spending...I have a Kia Sephia so I don't think I want to spend much considering the car is pretty much worthless already...
Any ideas on brands...prices....how to install it?
I'm a girl but i'm pretty handy...I can do it myself...
Thanks!!!!!

I have a 1992 Nissan Maxima (running strong at 202,000 miles!) that has the keypad entry system built into the door handles. The guy I bought it from gave me the security code, but I dont have a owner's manual to get the procedures. Does anyone know how to work this thing?

I have a question. Some of you people think that shops charge say 30,40,50,60 dollars an hour for labor rates. Do you have any idea what the overhead is to run a decent shop and to hire master technicians to work for you? Let me tell you a secret, any shop that charges 30 bucks an hour for a labor rate is not exactly the kind of shop I'd send my wife to. The labor rate at my shop is 90.00/hour. We are VERY competative with this as most dealers are 125/hour. You get what you pay for. If you want your car to get mis-diagnosed, go to auto zone or a 50/hr shop, that is what you are going to get. A big guess as to what is the problem with your vehicle. I guess what I am saying, pay the REAL shops with REAL techs that can REALLY diagnose your problems and in the long run, you will save lots of money. How many of you know someone that needed a brain transplant? Did you call all the local hospitals and compare prices to see who's the cheapest one to perform this? I didn't think so.

What options are there other than the subway? Are there shared vans or shared taxis? If so where/when can I pick them up in the morning?

Thanks so much.

I'd like to purchase a RWD supercharged 3800 GM V6 as a replacement for the 3800 V6 ecotec that is in my 1996 Holden. I have a contact in the US that can organise the purchase and shipping. Is this feasible to do. What problems will there be. I know most US engines of this type are FWD but there are some RWD.

From left to right are the tachometer, speedometer, battery, and fuel gauge. All lights are out except for the right hand side of the fuel gauge only. Dimmer switch is on. Any idea what may be causing this?

My 1989 Toyota Camry runs at 3K RPM when driving 75-80Mph. Is this normal for an old car? I know that my transmission is shifting just fine.
