My car shakes really badly when u raise the front.. When u drive it.. It drives ok but when u raise the front and put it on D and press the gas, the engine starts to shake. And it feels like the front wheels are jumping.. but nothing shakes when u drive the car on the road..

Last night, my kid's dad went to buy some food and he totalled my car. They charged him with a DUI and went to jail for 4 hours. I have allstate full coverage on my vehicle and I was wondering if they would still cover my car even though i wasn't driving and he is not on the policy.

I was hit this morning on my way to work. The other lady admitted fault and was cited by a police officer. She filed the claim with her insurance (Geico) at the scene. I contacted geico and was told that I have to have one of their people do an appraisal of the damage and setup the repairs. However, when scheduling to have it done I was told that I have to go to them and I have to go to a place thats in excess of 40-50 miles from my house and have to do it at 7am or during my lunch break, but that's still about 30 miles away and would take about 2-2.5 hours(my break is 30min.).I told them that I could only go that far if it's after work (after 4:30pm) and they would have to reimburse me for my time. Otherwise they will need to reimburse me for missing work. they said they can't do it after I get off work & that they won't reimburse me except for rental car and repairs to my vehicle. They're totally playing hard ball. If I go through my insurance I have to pay & wait for reimbursement.

im going to apply for my lisence but i don't really know what to do. I know that I have to take the drug and alcohol test but then...im kinda confused...i know that i should research it but right now im at school and everything but this website is blocked..So can anyone help me please?

I have taken many flights from New York to Florida mostly from Islip to Ft. Lauderdale. One of the things that I could never understand when the plane (it doesnt matter if its Southwest, Delta or Spirit Airlines) is landing at the Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood airport instead of just landing at the airport for some reason it always goes out to the everglades first and then turns around to land at the airport. You are in the air in some cases an extra 15 to 30 minutes. I understand that this might be the route but why cant the plane just go over the beach and land at the airport. Would appreciate the answer from an experienced pilot.

Its all stock but has a set of headers on it.. only about 50k on the motor.., I changed the plugs today and it did nothing.. Its kinda like a skip in the motor... every 6-8 seconds or so... Anyone know what could be wrong? i dont think its a vacuum leak.. and i checked all the wires and they are all ok

It didn't look like any damage was done, the driver of the other car asked for my friends DL information and work phone number and said, "Don't call your insurance company, it'll just make your rates go up. Everything looks ok, I'll call later." He ( the driver of the hit car) called later and said not to worry about the bumper, it was kindof an old car and he said it didn't make any difference to him if it had a dent. He said the alignment was out, and told my friend (who hit him) that if he wanted to reccommend his own mechanic, he would go there to have it fixed. Or if he wanted to get quotes on the price he could just pay the average or he'd go to whichever one he picked. Also, my friend didn't have his insurance card with him and the other driver said that if they called the police he would get a fine for not having it in his possession. Is this true? My friend called his insurance co. when he got to work and reported the incident. We're all debating on who should have done what.

My auto insurance company has been charging me fees, rate increases (originally I was told it would be a decrease!), and a whole other mess with the DMV. I have not had any tickets, accidents, or claims. No one has been able to satisfactorily explain to me why this is happening. I've replaced the fan clutch, flushed the system, replaced the thermostat with a low temp one, replaced the radiator cap, and made sure it was full of water and there is no air. With the cap off I can see coolant flowing and there's no coolant in the oil, but it only goes about 5 minutes, and then the gauge goes up and it really starts boiling in the recovery tank. Any ideas?

need to find out the locations of the speed sensor, trans. pressure sensor and throttle possition sensor on 92 dodge dakota v6mag 3.9 auto trans. 4x4. have looked all over for trans. diagram but cannot find one online. truck is no longer shifting into any other gears but first and has times where even in first will not go any faster than 20-25mph when trying to drive, engine revs but vehicle will not move any faster. any suggestions on what it might be if it is not the sensors???Can anyone help?

If you drive a car in America, please don't buy gas on May 15th...We want to "boycott" the price of gas on this day and if EVERYONE stood together on this one, the price of gas could shoot down by 20 cents the following day! 20 cents is a lot when you're paying 50 bucks to fill up an economy car!.... I cannot afford a lawyer (just got a new job and have been unemployed for seven months), so I'm hoping someone in the Yahoo Answers community can help. My rear bumper sustained damage, and I believe the driver should pay for it to be repaired.

I have reported it to my insurnace company, but I have no way of affording my deductible ($1,000) and quite frankly, I don't believe I should have to.

If anyone knows whether I need to go to court tomorow (yes, that's his appearance date - I just found this out), please let me know. Any other information is very much welcome and appreciated.

My boyfriend is interested in buying a car in Germany as he is about to be based there with the army.
The cars are a hell of a lot cheaper there. We understand that they are left hand drive but thats fine and are looking at buying one a couple of years old.
Does anyone know what fees/taxes are involved in bringing a German car to the UK??
Pros/Cons will be most useful.
