Alrite so say you're driving up a hill and then you have to stop because of the red light. The person behind creeps up too close behind you and the light changes to green... and you start to go but the hill is so steep that you end up rolling back and hitting the guy behind you. And so what I want to know is... WHOSE FAULT IS IT?

The Check Engine light is illuminated and searching other answers here indicates it could be an oxygen sensor. I checked the gas cap, and when I removed it, i could hear the vacuum releasing so I guess that's ok. Other answers indicated anything from nothing serious to very serious. They were told to empty the gas and fill it up with brand name gas....Who to believe? thanks for your experienced help.

The truck thinks the driver's door is open most of the time, dome light stays on and the key-dinger drives me nuts. Sometimes it works ok. I'm sure there is a sensor somewhere for the door-open. Do you know where it is and what a new one costs? The truck is a '98. Thanks.

I was driving today and my "Check Gauges" light came on. I noticed that the engine temp was high, as the needle was all the way over in the red zone.

It stayed on for 15 seconds, went off, then the needle dropped back down into the "middle temp" (between lowest and highest) where it usually is.

The AC was off and there was no noises, smoke, or anything coming from the engine.

I am thinking it's just some fault or computer glitch.

What do you think?

I purchased a trailer that has electric trailer brakes. I don't know how to hook up the brakes. The 7 way plug I purchased has only one wire for the electric brakes (blue). Each hub on the trailer (there are 4 of them) has 2 wires coming out the back side. I assume one is the power and one a ground. Do I just splice all the power wire and all the ground wires together and attach them to the power and ground on the plug? Help me out!

I have a dodge dakota (sport, 2x4, v6) and I want to tow some jet skiis. I have no knowlodge on towing hitches at all. I'd need an anatomy lesson on the whole hitch including the square box thing where the metal thing thing goes (that pulls the boat) and the wires. I also need to know what size metal thing I need if I want to try towing bigger at some point (not the ball, but the thing the ball goes on). I also need to know how much my truck can tow. The manual says a bunch of different weights up to 8k LBS, the dealership said 3kLBS, the truck's bumper says 2000kLBS and other people have told me 5-8kLBS. I'd like to get a quote from the shop that does it near me but I have no idea what their talking about with the size and all that. Please help!
