I own a shop, and work on a lot of computer related problems. Just because you get a code doesn't mean the sensor is the problem, it does mean something is making that sensor have a reading that is out of parameter with what is programmed into the computer. The O-2 sensor will get a bad reading when something down stream goes out, thus letting it run rich or lean. This has all of the symptoms of a bad fuel pressure regulator, or loss of vacuum to it. Another thing to look at would be the timing belt/chain may be going out, or gone out. I would put the old MAP sensor back on it to see if it will now start. If it does, then maybe you got the wrong sensor, or its a bad one. Either way, I think I would take my business to a real mechanic, and not another parts changer. Throwing parts at one is no way to determine the fault, and will get expensive. They make a tool called a sensor tester, and the (parts changer) mecahnic should have tested them BEFORE he replaced them with new stuff. A code means there is a problem within that circuit, and that could be as simple as a cracked vacuum hose where it plugs on to the sensor, or anything in the circuit. You are way ahead of the game to use only certified mechanics, and try to stay away from the guys who claim they can fix it cheaper. Cheaper is not always better. Some people can spend a thousand dollars trying to save twenty. Like I said; A code doesn't mean that part/sensor is bad.
Glad to help out, Good Luck!!!

bad fuel pump, stopped up inline fuel filer or bad F/pressure regulator. When you turn the switch to on, is the fuel pump making loud humming noise? if so pump is weak. has you check to see if the plugs are getting power? AND if you have good f/pressure and spark, should crank, provididng you don'r have a massive vacuum leak...?what is this emmissions sensor? Was the car making a rattling sound in the past on start and in park? All the time you have tried cranking it..you could havr fouled the spark plugs, and might have left a sensor unplugged....gotspeed7883

Sounds like a computer module problem, have you had your computer checked?or the voltage to the injectors is wrong, have your mechanic check the pressure from the fuel pump, you could have fuel but not the right pressure(should be around 65lbs psi)or a bad injector rail.hard to say without seeing the car. Good Luck!

meaning there may be a ton of issues incorrect. First turn the foremost to the on place top till now the automobile starts. hear for a mechanical sound. that would be the gasoline pump priming up. If that would not ensue you prefer a gasoline pump. next attempt to drag countless the spark plugs and take a seem at them. in the event that they are lined in black goo, it is not stable and is why your automobile isn't commencing. in the event that they have a black powder on them and are lighter in coloration in the direction of the staggering it is common and not the difficulty. next attempt turing the engine if it form of appears like it is spinning too quickly then your timing belt is broken and the automobile won't start up. otherwise locate somebody with a code reader and notice if there are any worry codes, if not your automobile is fried.

If the car ran before it was worked on, the mechanic is at fault, or there was some sort of freak accident where a meteor hit your car. Im going to say the latter is what happened. You need to tell him he has to fix for free of charge or you will var the Burea Of Automotive Repair, depending on what state you are in.

Check and/or clean the injectors. Also, make sure spark at each plug is blue-white, not orange in color.
