I have a 1992 Nissan Maxima (running strong at 202,000 miles!) that has the keypad entry system built into the door handles. The guy I bought it from gave me the security code, but I dont have a owner's manual to get the procedures. Does anyone know how to work this thing?

you push and hold the last digit listen for the continious beep then enter the security code now beep beep beep then put in your new entry code. either open the door or push and hold the last digit beep stops now try the new code. best to roll down a window while doing this. That security code is on the keyless entry box in the trunk between the speakers.

I had an similar situation. I had to get rid of the battery to keep the alarm from going off consistently. They informed me I had to get a clean distant. The contact for the alarm became permanately depressed. I had a guy soulder a clean one in, in spite of the indisputable fact that it did an similar project a week later. it really isn't any longer the battery. you'll likely might want to interchange your keyless get acceptable of entry to distant.
