'98 Mazda 626 Dashboard lights out?

From left to right are the tachometer, speedometer, battery, and fuel gauge. All lights are out except for the right hand side of the fuel gauge only. Dimmer switch is on. Any idea what may be causing this?

try moving the dimmer switch back and forth
