on the post cat o2, should the voltage vary from about 250-600mv with a slow switch time, and under heavy load demand should you see rich condition for a moment(like the upstream) or should the mv stay lower? what does the ecm look for to set a po420(cat eff.)

ive just fitted a second hand rear axle on a 1986 fiesta xr2, since doing this the back end is very scarey, ive now replaced both rear shockers and both rear trailing arms but its no better, after measuring the gap between the trailing arm and the wheel i found that the passenger side gap is half the size of the other side.

My friends insurance is giving us the run around on filing the claim, her window was shattered and my laptop, my son's PSP and several games DVD's and music CD's were stolen out of her car and she has full coverage on this car.But why does the insurance people say that the items stolen were not hers so they don't have to reimburse me and why home owners insurance and not auto.We were out of state no where near home I just want my stuff replaced and I have all the serial numbers and receipts of the high dollar items and we filed a police report right when it happened.

I have asked a question before about my 98 Honda Accord LX 4cyl. When driving up hill and trying to go as in speed up, the car acts like it is getting now p ower and it doesn't want to go. I had the computer ran and there were some error messages that had to do with the cylinders misfiring and something to do with the catalyst. Well I took advice from here and changed the spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, and the rotor button...and it still has not fixed the problem. I was wondering if anyone knew what would cause this other than the above mentioned things. I do not think it is the distributor I actually have a feeling that it is the catalytic converter. If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks

I have a '91 Chevy Cavalier Z24 Manual. I'm having a hard time finding a turbocharger for my 3.1L engine. I read somewhere that I can swap out my old motor for a 3.1 Turbo Grand Prix but I don't know how compatible it is. Plus I don't want to rebuild my motor I want to keep everything that I can factory for now. Basically I just want my car to have that tssss sound with minimal out of pocket expence.

I went to buy new rotors for the front brakes on my 1996 Ford Escort and the parts guy wanted to know if they were 10 1/4 inch or 9 1/4 inch rotors. Short of taking the wheels off and measuring, is there some way to know what size I need?

The nut that holds the driver side blade was loose and the blade would wipe past the window into the air. I moved the blade so that it was as far down when the wipers were off and then tightened the nut. The blades still do not rotate at the same rate. They hit one another and end up in the wrong order. Any suggestions?

This transporter has two wheels and a persons stands on it. It runs on a rechargeble battery. Used by some police departments in downtown areas. Has a name that sounds something like "sagway".

...jump up and down on the spot while rubbing your stomach in a clockwise direction with one hand and rubbing the top of your head in a counter clockwise direction with the other hand with your eyes closed...without fumbling? If you can, apparently you have the cooerdation to be a chopper pilot.

I have a question if someone can help me out that 2 mechanics cannot figure out the problem. My mother has a 2001 Oldsmobile Alero with the V6 engine. It has only 21,000 miles on there. She only puts on about 50 miles a week. The problem is that she is only getting 10 mpg doing her short commute of 10 miles per day to and from work. I have had the upflow O2 sensor and all the fuel injectors replaced to try to resolve the problem. There also seems to be a small problem with gas leaking into the oil pan as well but not very much. When I have driven the car on a long commute it gets great gas mileage, but on the short commutes only 10 mpg. Can anyone help?
