how much weight can a 98 mercedes ml320 pull?

we have a food vending trailer and it weighs about 5-6 thousand lbs. will all that weight ruin my mercedes?

A quick Google search reveals that an ML320 is rated to tow 5000 lbs. with the proper hitch.

i would call the dealer and ask you may have to install a trans fluid cooler
