They won't take the bike away, but they may make you have your parents come to get it.

Here's what we did to ride pocketbikes in our area:

You get two people to man the intersections at either end of the street you want to ride on (we had these little walkee-talkie radios, but you could yell or use hand signals or whatever). Our real reason for the lookouts was to warn of cars coming into our street, but they could warn of cops too.

Our street was pretty long (maybe 4 or 5 normal city blocks) so yelling wasn't really an option for us.

The real thing you have to think about is bitchy neighbours. You know the type...the slightest noise out of a kid, and they call the cops, etc etc. We only had one, thank God, and she wasn't often at home.

Pocket bikes are not legal to ride on the streets. So they will eventually catch you and give you a ticket. Unless you are invisible. However they won't take it away. Unless you continue breaking the law.

Dallas is it?

Don't you know them "Good ol' Red-kneck Boys" make up the law as they see the need so whatever you do they will "bust yer" just for breathing air (anti smog law violation)

they might make you walk it home or call for a truck but most assured to give you a ticket. Sadly these pocket bikes and two wheel yard scooters are illegal in most states, a shame no doubt.

yes it is against the law to ride them on the roads. not sure about anything else. but it is a shame that they do all this to take away from kids then wonder why they have nothing else to do but go vandalize stuff or cause trouble. damn just lets kids have fun and it will keeo most of them out of trouble. i know from expirience.
