They say prestige is in the good name and reputation of a brand, but with Lexus's top quality, reliabilty, incredible luxury, and high resale value among other its good qualities, isn't it what they are referring to as "prestige"?

So my dad lives in new hampshire and he has 3 cars all registered to him, I need a car and he is offering me one of his cars. I live in British Columbia canada, where the mafia also known as ICBC wants to charge me a ridiculous price for insurance and load me up with a bunch of restrictions because I am a new driver ( only 1 passanger, have to have a huge NEW DRIVER SIGN on the back blah blah ) for TWO years!! I want to know if I can go down to new hampshire, get a NH lisence, get the car registered under my name, complete the annual inspection and drive the car over to BC and use it here for the next year until my plates expire and I am forced to import the car and register the car in BC. I think I can do this because TECHNICALLY I do have a residency in NH, and I have proof of this residency. Right now I am just about to complete the "L" stage in BC and get my "N" which will allow me to drive by myself, I plan to convert this N lisence into a NH lisence.

Hi I bought a carbon fiber muffler off a friend of mine and went to have it put on. The exhaust specialist said he was afraid that if he used the normal C-Clamp and tightened it the carbon fiber qould crack and ruin the muffler so he was dumbfounded on installing the muffler. Can anyone who has done a carbon fiber muffler mounting job tell me the best way to mount it wothout rattling or breaking the muffler? Thanks

I have a Kenwood mono Amp 850 RMS 1700 Peak, Alpine type S 10" 2 ohm wired for 4 ohm 300 RMS 900 Peak, Alpine R 10" 4 ohm wired for 2 ohm 500 RMS 1500 Peak. I was thinking if i could have them in 2 separate boxs then hook them up to the amp?

i checked freon, it's ok. disconected low presure switch and jumped with paper clip, same problem kicks on then off. summer is almost here must fix. almost willing to hot wire it if that will make it work

I bought an old evenrude...it was only used for 4 years then place in storage till i bought it,...it loooks in perfect condition....i have ran it and it runs fine...however how much water should the water pump be putting out???the ezhuast and water come out the same whole...i dont know how it should look? any one else know????should i use my manual and dissasemble it to check the impeller or runnit...it has very few hours.

Okay I bought a 90 ford thunderbird a few weeks ago. He said there was a low battery then the car finally died and couldn't get it started. So I put a new alternator AND battery in it. Every now and then the voltage gauge would show it was above normal. but most the time it was a little below. I was driving it today (at night) and after 45 min the volts went to the red.. then I got to the place and shut my car off. Now I can't get it started!!! I don't understand what else could it be?!

The best airline to fly with is Southwest
The worst airline is United (got I hate them so much, after a 15 hour flight from Japan to Chicago all I wanted to do was get to Nashville. After delaying the flight 3 times they finally desided to cancel it at 11:00 at night. That was not bad, yes the weather in other places where bad and all flights where getting cancled. But what gets me is...they told me there was NO AIRLINE going to tennassee from that airport for THREE days and that they would not pay for me to stay at a hotel, and also that there were no rooms avalible at any hotels close to the Airport. They told me I can sleep at the airport...hahah for 3 days I think NOT!!!. My sisters friend came and got me and drove me to Midway Airport the next morning to catch a southwest flight to Nashville. (oh and they would not give me my bags, they said they would be in nashville for me in the morning. They never got there until 11:00 that night, and I had to go pick them up.)

This refers to a currently informal 'Club' made up of classic car enthusiasts and the question has arrisen due to some 'members' who think we need to have public liability insurance when cars are displayed at shows or rallies.
At present we have no club constitution but have volunteer commitee members and a subscription to cover incidental costs.

I'll drive my 99 Toyota Rav 4 for a while on the freeway and the temp gauge will go from normal to cold then back up, usually after I get off the freeway then sometimes it will go back down again. Now I know what it means when it is too hot, but too cold?
