I have a Kenwood mono Amp 850 RMS 1700 Peak, Alpine type S 10" 2 ohm wired for 4 ohm 300 RMS 900 Peak, Alpine R 10" 4 ohm wired for 2 ohm 500 RMS 1500 Peak. I was thinking if i could have them in 2 separate boxs then hook them up to the amp?

The correct answer is, no! Wiring these 2 woofers at the same time would result in too low of an impedance (Ohm) 'load' on the amp, meaning, by-by amp!
Get either 2 4Ohm woofers and wire them in parallel to the amp (each speaker + to amp +, each speaker - to amp -), or two dual 2Ohm voice coil speakers wired in series/parallel to the amp (- from vc #1, speaker #1, to + vc #2, speaker #1, then the left over (lol) vc + to amp +, leftover vc - to amp -), the same for speaker #2 (- from vc #1, sp. #2, to + vc #2, sp. #2, leftover + to same + terminal on amp as speaker #1, leftover - to same - terminal as sp. #1). This will load the amp at 2Ohm either way (2 4Ohm woofers, or 2 dual 2Ohm woofers) and result in maximum amp output.
Be safe. Double check connections. Have fun!

You cannot hook these up in this configuration without putting too much stress on your amp. you need to get two subs of the same ohm output. If your amp is 2 ohm stable, get two 2 ohm subs if it is 4 ohm stable get the 4 ohm model. You would wire the subs as follows. Run the + off the amp to one + of each speaker, then run the - off the amp to one - of speaker then connect the + and - of each individual speaker together this will give two 2 ohm subs a 2 ohm output, and two 4 ohm subs a 4 ohm output. And you can run both subs in the same box. I currently have 2 kicker comp vr 10's 2 ohm running this way out of a kicker 700.5 and it rocks.
