I really need to know.

WHY DO I WANT TO DO THIS!?!?!?!? I have an 84 Ford Fairmont and need it to last at least until I graduate from college in 2012 (I'm 15). I haven't even started driving yet. I have already poured tupperware all over the whole car. Now I need to know if I can pour it on the windshield to finish the job. I just need to know if I'll be able to see, since the tupperware has a slight pink tint to it.

Tupperware isn't cheap, why didn't you just go to a body shop and ask them what they could put on it to help it last till 2012? I would think it would have been cheaper and I'm sure there would have been a better solution to the problem. Maybe try asking them about the windshield before you spend any more money on tupperwear.

What ever you are smoking pass it over here! WTF? Why would you even consider pouring it on the rest of the car, let alone the windshield? Not to mention Tupperware is not cheap. Does mom know you stole hers to be a dumb arss Are you simple minded? If so you should take the short bus and not drive alltogether.

um, seriously now...why? by putting it on the body you ruing the the paint and in turn to body and then the value of the vehicle.

if you melt it down to put on the windshield it will shatter the glas. common sense comes to play on this one...hot plastic (which has to be around a couple hundred degrees to be melted and more to stay melted to apply it) applied to glass that is about 1/4 in thick will cause the glass to shatter almost instantly.

on another note...you just screwed that vehicle royally. it should be treated with the utmost care being that it is considered a classic car / antique car. i can't believe your parents actually let you do this.

Go to Novus,Speedy Glass or any reputable glass shops to have your windscreen sealed do NOT put any plastic on your windscreen this will not accomplish anything except a lot of burns and blisters.Rain-X is a product that seals and coats the windscreen it really works well here in the North West it sheds the water quickly and aids wiper performance.Good luck,Michael T.

NO! Don't do that unless you plan to either never drive the car or have the windshield replaced.

Yes it is. If you pour it on hot it works amazingly well as a winshield cleaner. But its hell on leftovers in the kitchen.
