I have a '91 Chevy Cavalier Z24 Manual. I'm having a hard time finding a turbocharger for my 3.1L engine. I read somewhere that I can swap out my old motor for a 3.1 Turbo Grand Prix but I don't know how compatible it is. Plus I don't want to rebuild my motor I want to keep everything that I can factory for now. Basically I just want my car to have that tssss sound with minimal out of pocket expence.

If your 3.1 is running good why mess with it? Put a big air-take (K&N) wih the chrome pipe. Put a new exaust. If thats not faster enought buy a Subraru STI.

Wow that is going way back..Should be the same engine, mounting points, just check where the the turbo sits make sure you have the space..make sure to get wiring harness and ECM..space would be the only concern. I can think of..and that is only by the turbo... GOOD LUCK
