I just spent 2 weeks redecorating the inside of my 97 ford explorer. all of the trim around the gadges, stereo, cup holders comes from the factory black. I painted all of it red metallic with metal flake. everything looks great but its missing something. I want put my "nickname" on my passenger airbag cover in raised letters or something else cool. but i also want it to match. anone got any ideas?

No one sits in passenger seat so no one will be hurt if it goes off

Check out a local art school. See if you can get(pay) a student to hand paint it on. You might also look into custom auto painters that do pin striping, flames etc. They should be able to do hand painting. Will look cool and still not be a problem if the air bag fires.

My idea is: (God Forbid) if your airbags ever go off you will have your name imprinted on your passenger! Just leave it alone, they are not to be messed with! :-)
