I just purchased 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse (5 speed-stick shift) with a blown 420A engine. I have not heard many good things about this engine. Is there another engine out there that I can buy that will fit the Eclipse? If not is there a reliable place to have this engine rebuilt?

Is this a sensor that need to be replaced or do I have a vacuum leak or something? The bad thing is that it tuned my check engine light on and that is just annoying.

They are small enough not to hamper visibility so safety is not issue. Have heard there is something that might work.

I want to put a CD tuner and an MD player in the space the CD player in my 2002 Ford Galaxy goes in. (It is about twice the height of a standard car music unit). I know two units will fit in there but how would I get them to work, is there the power and sound leads nessesary. Is the car design so bad that I can not replace the existing CD player?

I thought that when main bearings go bad, pressure drops when you rev the engine. My pressure is at 0, but it goes up to 20-25 pounds when the engine is revved.

If I turn on the left blinker in my car it doesn't go on and the dash board indicator doesn't go on, and the little clicker noise doesn't sound. When I turn on the right blinker it goes on but blinks faster than normal.

I got a Z28 Camaro with the LT1 2 months ago. After about 1000 miles, the car lost oil pressure on the highway and upon inspection we found that the main bearings had spun on the #7 and #8 cylinders. We rebuilt it - the block was line bored, crank and rods 7 and 8 reconditioned, and new rings and bearings were installed. Now, 1000 miles later, the car has lost oil pressure again.

What could cause the bearings to fail twice in a row like this?

I need to repair a crack in the side of my leather seats but I can't find my old Pontiac brochure which had the color codes for the interior listed. Does anyone know what the exact color code is?

Thanks!
