I have a 1995 Geo Prizm, replaced fuel pump and fuel filter, car still won't start. Anyone know the problem? Definitely not starter or battery problem.

Does it turn over? Could be an ignition system problem, but more info. is necessary.

Well, looks like you have a couple of choices. You can buy a new coil, then new cap and rotor and wires, then maybe something else until it finally does start and run, or you can have a qualified mechanic look at it, diagnose it and fix it, and they you can stop spending money on parts with the shotgun approach, and actually drive it down the road. Your choice I guess. If you are going to keep just buying things for it, try a coil next.

Since you don't say, I will assume it's cranking over, you know, the Rrurh-Rrurh-Rrurh noise??

Maybe you don't have spark.
Turn it over a bit while stepping on the gas a couple of times.
Remove a spark plug and smell it, does it smell like gas? If so, fuel is good.
Clamp spark plug to engine metal somewhere, then put the plug wire back on it.
Crank the engine over. Is there spark?

If the engine does crank, then you'll have to check for clogged injectors, worn spark plugs/plug cables/ faulty distributor. Most likely the distributor is the culprit here.

Check your battery cables to ensure that they haven't slightly come off the battery over time.

You might have an ignition problem. Take it to a shop and have it properly diagnosed.
