i have a jeep wrangler x 03 i went to work at night it has been cold it started just fine howver it said check gages i had no oil pressure but within a min it was fine i figuried it was due to the cold weather got to work turnd off car nothing was left on went back out side 10 min ater and it turned over started then died i took out the battey and took it in for test it tested bad got the new battery in and now when i turn the key a whineing noise follows untill the key is in the off postion. about a week earlyer a no buss came up on my jeep checked fuses and they are fine and the no buss went away???? so please help me to get it started

Yesterday it came as shock to me. I brought my Santro XL in Jan'06. I did my first servicing on time. As i was out of station, i missed the 2nd servicing and it got overdue by 4 and half months. Meanwhile, my parents changed the engine-oil from trusted place. There is no much running, and so far the running is 5000 kms only. Now yesterday i gave my vehicle for servicing, and when i went there to get the delivery, these people told me that the Engine is completely damaged and i have to do the replacement. What the heck? How is it possible?? There is no much running, oil is changed and its just 4 and half months overdue? Will that cause a complete breakdown of a strongest thing like Engine??
I don't believe this. I am talking to some other peoples and applied for warranty as well. But it seems, warranty is out of question as i haven't done the servicing on time and used some other oil. I think this is just a reason they have got.. my belief, they haven't done their first servicing proper

I just got out of HS and my dad wanted to buy me a car ( i'm not a spoiled kid he just wants me to have my first car) and he said he'll give me $4000 to buy one... now, i can keep saving money till i can buy a better car (by the time cars fly) of just go out and buy one and fix it as the years go by... what car do you think is the best or better and if i should save or buy now?

He’s going to resist giving up his license. He was a firefighter and used to drive the hook-and-ladder outfit and swing that mother around tight corners. But that was 60 years ago. He and my mother live in an assisted living place that has a van to take them places and I could drive them anywhere else but getting him to give up driving is going to be hell on a hot plate. Anybody else go through this and have any ideas?

when i turn the wheel as far as it can go ( right or left ) let,s say, parellel park or, turn sharp into a driveway, it feels like something is grinding more like a winding noise. when new it would make these ( slow, sharp turns smoothly, no resistance.) Is this lubrication or maybe something worn out ??

I live within a block of flats with its own grounds for parking. A clamping agency have been employed to monitors and protect our flats and parking. Each of the residents are given a parking permit and in our agreement it says we must display the permit if we dont it may result in clamping and a fine. It appears that condensation on the windscreen reacted with the adhesive for the holder for my permit and it fell off. I was promptly clamped. I've lived there for a year and am shocked now that the clamping company will not understand that this is an unforseable and unaviodable error and insist i pay £125 to remove the car or they will impound it. Is there any way to wriggle free of what i deem is an unfair charge that should be recinded and can they really take my car even though i now am displaying a parking permit? Your help would be gratefully received.
